Gaming Meeting
Went to a game developer meeting last night. Was interesting, but did you know that game developers can be REALLY geeky? Wow.
Here are some of the obscure notes I took:
Games as a storytelling medium
Movie violence is evaluated in a story framework. Does it push the story line.
Game violence is evaluated in a youth-game frame work, not adult.
Dec 12 is a gaming fundraiser.
The game developers conference is in february
Pygame.org, pyweek.org
They showed a mario like level game where the entire screen would rotate 90 degrees upon completion of a level. Pretty cool.
That's about it. Except that I ate 2 nutterbutter cookies for dinner until I got home. YUM! Love those Nutterbutters.
